It’s so exciting to be apart of Makerfaire 2018!! This will be my first event ever so I’m definitely looking forward to it and all the makers and event goers I get to meet along the way. My booth features OpenOcular, an opensource 3D printed microscope to smartphone adapter. This tool was inspired through my personal microscope exploration hobby, my love of design, and meeting students and professors across many universities which have found the ability to capture microscope images wildly valuable to their learning and teachings. My hope is to help move microscope imagery from the rare to the common (it’s a whole world down there!) and to develop tools you’ll love using through community inspired design. Hope to see you there!!
