Subsystems is a small (ok, tiny) company that produces STEM education content. You can find us at www.subsystems.us. Visit our booth to try your hand at programming a 4-bit computer! Today's modern computers grew out of these simple devices. I have developed a 4-bit microprocessor trainer to help students understand the lowest level of computer programming - machine language. Stop by and see it in action. And while you are here check out the other fun and engaging education modules we offer. Also, tinker with some interactive displays like Conway's Game of Life running on an Arduino. Or see a Raspberry Pi mine Litecoin. See our mobile web site hit tracker. You can even check the speed of your fidget spinner. Drop by and see us!!
I retired from the Naval Submarine Force in 2007. I worked for the Missile Defense Agency building target rockets and I have taught electronics to disabled veterans. I have a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and am passionate about STEM education. I started my small company, Subsystems, in January and I currently offer STEM education modules, free resources, and project ideas on my website.
