The Marbelous Bells is a music machine inspired from the Marble Music Machine by Wintergatan (look it up on YouTube, it's amazing.) The machine works by turning the crank which turns the wheel. The pegs connected to the wheel will hit a mechanism that will trigger the ball drop. A ball will drop onto one of the notes, and all the notes together will make a song. The actual bell part we had to make because if you used only the bell set there would be some hard factors to get over like hitting another note as the ball rolls off. We are experimenting with the mechanism part at the moment to get it quick enough and strong enough not to:
A) Break under the weight of the balls.
B) To make sure it drops the ball on time to the song. If notes are off, the song doesn't sound right.
